Dr. Karen Campbell Kuebler, Co-founder and President of the Board of Directors
After more than thirty years as an educator in the Baltimore community as well as a leader in several professional organizations, my ability to manage innovative and academically rigorous programs is evident. As the President of the Board of Directors, I will support the school as well as provide engaging teaching and learning opportunities for the children, their families, and the community. As a dynamic leader, I strive to listen to the stakeholders, move the school forward in active learning, and continue to grow professionally and personally to best support our bilingual global citizens.
Dr. Bertrand Tchoumi, Co-founder and Executive Director
Co-founder and Executive Director of BGC PCS, Dr. Tchoumi is an accomplished leader in dual language and charter schools, with experience in Baltimore and New York city. Recognized for his contributions to education, he has received awards such as the 2024 AATF Outstanding Administrator. Reporting to the BGC PCS Board of Directors, Dr. Tchoumi oversees the school's vision, goals, fundraising, and operations, ensuring alignment with its mission. He is responsible for guiding the school's culture, managing finances and human resources, and maintaining accountability to the school’s authorizer.
Ms. Henriette Sindjui, Co-founder
Henriette is a skilled, energetic, multilingual, and dual language immersion educational leader with more than 30 years' experience in elementary and secondary education, and in the United States and abroad. She has demonstrated a track record of achievement as a teacher, mentor, department chair, program coordinator implementing policies across culturally diverse student populations. Bilingual Global Citizens will benefit from Henriette’s vigorous and forceful language immersion and leadership experience.
